Hello out there! Are you ready for some Peppermint Mocha? Let’s do this! We will again partner with Hannah to support PEPE United – Pre-school Education Program in Africa. A few fun facts about the project:

We are starting our collection this Sunday, October 13th. We are leading up to a fun day of making cards and taking pictures of EPCers to send to the children in Africa. Please plan to attend the October Feast Day (10/20) to get in on the action! We will wrap up completely by October 31st.

We are NOT collecting anything to ship! We are collecting money to send to Hannah so she can help the local economy by spending our money there.

There are 20 graduates this year and we need a donation of $41 for each package, which will mostly contain what they need to start primary school in January, but it’s Christmas! Of course, we are including a gift! Make checks payable to EPC and put “Africa Preschool Project” in the memo line or follow the “Give” link on the church web page. We need $825 to make this happen. In addition, we are raising an additional $22 for a small gift for the 20 students who come to the school in the afternoons for Christian ministry to these children as they grow older. Our overall goal is $1,275. Any additional funds raised will go toward teacher salaries. Some teachers are currently not being paid.

May grace and peace be multiplied to you!
