Reaching Neighborhood Girls

The online Christian conference in which we participated last month inspired the ladies of our household and my goddaughter in many ways. Among other commitments, we set aside Sunday afternoons to continue studying related materials together, for our own spiritual development and to equip us to share with others what we are learning. Last Sunday, we invited neighborhood girls for an initial meeting of the discipleship group we plan to convene on a weekly basis in the near future. They seemed excited about this joint adventure of growing in our knowledge of God and obedience to His Word. I am heartened by the enthusiastic initiative of my African partners in this ministry. Please pray that we will undertake it wisely and that the Holy Spirit will use our efforts to bring forth eternal fruit in many lives.
