God extraordinarily blessed my four months of traveling through the USA.  I enjoyed sweet fellowship with hundreds of friends and gave many presentations about the wonderful things He is doing in Africa.  On my return trip, a bad cold limited my sightseeing in Washington, D.C., Cairo, and Johannesburg, but I still enjoyed outings to the most important sites.  After three weeks, I’m finally back at full strength and looking forward to returning to the office tomorrow, as scheduled.

And I’ve already taken my first domestic trip since returning home Tuesday afternoon!  Early Saturday morning, Boniface, Stephanie, and I left by bus for a town 250 miles away where they had church meetings.  I’d planned to visit a family there, but when they cancelled after I’d bought my ticket and packed my backpack, I still decided to go anyway.  Another friend met me at the bus station and took me to the beach, where we walked, talked, and savored pizza at a restaurant.  I ate supper at a different family’s home and slept in a hotel run by Christian friends of theirs.  I worshipped at a Reformed church plant (pictured here) on Sunday morning, then rejoined Boniface and Stephanie for the bus trip home that afternoon.  Despite the last-minute change in plans, I still had a great trip!
